Drawing inspirations from folk culture and utilitarianism, Brazilian designer Gilda Midani uses her eponymous clothing line to develop a personal culture not fashion line. Gestures, identities, rhythms are themes within the line that get explored in her nature-inspired color palettes, proportions and use of natural materials like cotton, linen and silk. The Balloon Dress features a slight scoop neckline, fitted arms and a tulip skirt elasticated hem. Hem can be worn at the waist for a shorter dress.
